Introduction
Tinted laminated glass is a safety glazing product that combines the structural integrity of laminated glass with the solar control and glare-reduction benefits of tinting. It is produced by bonding two or more glass panes with a tinted interlayer (typically PVB) or by using body-tinted glass panes, or a combination of both.
The tinting effect can be introduced at different points in the laminate construction:

High Impact Resistance
Tempered safety laminated glass combines the properties of tempered glass and laminated glass.
Enhanced Safety
Even when broken, the interlayer holds the glass fragments together. Tempered glass shatters into small, blunt-edged pieces, while laminated glass prevents shards from flying, reducing the risk of injury.
UV Protection
The interlayer blocks up to 99% of harmful ultraviolet (UV) rays, protecting indoor furniture, floors, and artwork from fading.
